Cooperation with Gavdos Travelling
I am David, author and face behind the blog and website Gavdos Traveling. As a blogger, creator and photographer, I have been sharing personal, authentic and well-researched travel stories, tips and information about Gavdos and Crete (with a focus on southwest Crete) for 3 years. These are the result of over 10 years of regular travel and living experiences in these regions. My aim is to give visitors to the island of Gavdos and South Crete an authentic approach and to show different places from their real and special side, as they are not yet known. To do this, I leave the familiar tourist paths and open myself up to the new. My focus is on the individuality of travel. This resulted in my travel guide “Gavdos: Journey to the southernmost point of Europe”, published in 2022, which is a comprehensive travel and information guide to the island. It is the most comprehensive Gavdos travel guide currently available on the market. The guide is updated and expanded every year. In addition, my reports and projects are recorded using high-quality, professional photographs, which can also be purchased in the form of photographic print products in my store.

Gavdos Travelling in numbers
The blog currently reaches an average of ~5000 visitors per month and is bilingual, in English and German. My social media channels currently reach ~5000 accounts via Instagram and ~7000 accounts via Facebook per month on average. There are currently (as of September 2024) ~1100 followers on both Facebook and Instagram. All statistics and trends are steadily increasing. All accounts, as well as the blog, are regularly updated with new content.

The images I create can be purchased for your website and for marketing purposes. As a photographer, I can arrange customized shoots and photo series for you. For commissioned shoots, I have gained experience explicitly in the field of hotel and interior photography.
